Don't get me wrong my dad is amazing but he moved out but my mum is just on another whole level, she even acts like she likes her cats more than me and my sis and she acts like we're maids not even her daughters and when the guests come over they are like omg the house is so clean and my mum says tysmm I did it all by myself 😊 😊. Im turning 19 this year and I have only now over the last few years been diagnosed with autism and bipolar disorder this has put so much stuff into perspective for me because I wasn't a "bad child". I just things going undiagnosed my mum was a single parent with two kids very close in age my sister now being 20 our dad wasn't the nicest person when he was around a very toxic abusive man, so when he left she had to do it all by herself so understand and sympathise with my mother but she never tried to understand me. I was very aggressive and misbehaved but it was never because I was a "bad kid" I just acted out, because I didn't know how to properly communicate that something was wrong I didn't like how certain things felt on my body I hate loud sounds but I also want to be the loudest person in the room. I used to get hyperfixated on stuff and want to share it with her but she never cared and would tell me to be quiet. I used to get aggressive in arguments and snap back I don't like not being in control. So now knowing I'm autistic and bipolar I know the issue at hand my mum has not apologised and I do not think she ever will simply because she knows she's the one who refused to get me diagnosed. I went behind her back and did a lot of it myself and I'm glad I did. So if you are the "bad child" you probably aren't your parents just want an excuse to act like bad parents
